Every fin tells a story. Every sighting advances science. Every adoption helps protect marine life in Algoa Bay.
Through photo-identification research, individual dolphins and whales can be recognized by the unique markings on their fins and tails. By adopting an animal, supporters help fund ongoing marine research, monitoring and conservation in Algoa Bay, South Africa.

Following these instructions: Enter the first and last name of either yourself or the person to whom you are giving the adoption as a gift, the name of the programma, the name of the dolphin or whale and its identification code, and the amount donated, as shown in the following example: “Emma David – Adopt a Star – Popcorn – A001 – 399 Rand”
If you are choosing the name of the dolphin or whale, please enter it under the heading ‘Name of dolphin or whale’.
If you wish to adopt more than one animal, repeat this process for each one.
If you wish to donate more than the specified amount, please specify this under the heading ‘Amount Donated’.
